Very nice party in Leipzig
My set from the pure psychedelic festival - www.facebook.com/events/1805636426245774/ Thanks everyone for the wonderful weekend :)
The closing set of the evening - A journey through twisted and mind-melting sounds. 90-450 bpm :)
Closing Set of a cosy birthday party with old and new friends :)
Very frustrated from my morning chill-out set, I thought maybe an hour night psy will cheer my mood up (I’m not familiar enough with CDJs to get good enough transitions for my taste, so I avoid Ping-Pong shows). Really nice to see so many energetic dancing people, was a nice flight for me as well :)
Early morning psy from the Easterdelic Tent. Best eastern ever, thanks everyone :)
See you at Gailalda :)
Very nice party, good atmosphere and friendly people. See you at the next one :)
Opening Set of the Zappelkiste #23 Tent Floor.
A travel through the psychedelic landscape. 100-150 bpm :) Thanks for the wonderful festival !
Early sunrise on the chill/thrill/kill floor of the Gaggalacka Festival. I was booked for a psybreaks set, but found it to dense and breaky for early morning moods. I changed after 20 minutes to zenonesque/progressive morning psy - sorry for those who expected psybreaks. Maybe next time in the early evening :)
No music on the chill floor ? Not for long ;) for the purple sunshine :)
Early evening on the main floor of the lift_up festival.
Opening set of the Gailalda Psyfloor. Bpm 136-145. The beginning is the rest of a 1 hour ambient intro.
Ingredients: 1 Zuber 400 Liters of warm water 1 PA 1 to 15 humans psydub * (*) may contain bad mixing and autodj depending on dj mood Time constrained and exhausted, I did not really have time for playing on the zuber floor until Sunday. As I wanted to spend the time inside the zuber and not behind the mixer, the autodj was hailed to the rescue ;)
As the other floors where still in the build-up phase, my mood was more for some driving and danceable sounds than the usual chill sound I would have played otherwise… Thank to Thomas for original picture
This set is meant as a follow-up to parties that ended too early and too fast, leaving your head spinning at 150 bpm. A (much needed) wind-down from 150 to a more soothing 94 bpm. Enjoy! :-)
Everything is better with a good soundtrack, so is a party build-up. I played some tunes until it started to fill up around 17:30 and my mighty will overruled the inferior auto DJ. Outside, warm, nice decoration, wonderful people, a very lovely evening :) cu @ gailalda
A free spot on ColoRadio got filled by this chill set
When we arrived, the chill-out floor was built up, but no DJ in sight. I improvised this set to get the mood up for the party :) Spanning ambient, psybass to psybreaks, slowly taking off…
Had to check out my new controller mappings, this is what came out. If ou don’t like booting into a set, skip to minute 10. See you at Gaggalacka chillfloor Saturday at 6 am :)
Jazzy tunes I love - thank you down under for this vibrant sounds.
Totally overtired, just finishing 2 shifts and getting the first pre congress impressions. I caught the ambient floor crew just packing their stuff and as the VJ was also in the mood,… this set arose. Sorry for the many f***ups, should have called this sleep deprived escape pond ;) Original photo: Mitch Altman - https://www.flickr.com/photos/maltman23/39586752692/
Kidsspace @34c3 - grown up kids occupy the nightly realms. Driving bobby cars and building towers from over-sized legos. Due the lack of proper soundtrack, this mix emerged spontaneously through the help of the high jacked PA. I think the tower was completed around ~ 50 - 60 minutes playtime - fitted very nicely with the final assembly (they build a huge helping construction from tables to move the upper part onto the base.
Music played in some remote corner somewhere on the #34c3 - a day where all floors had unbearable music… something I would have played on the main floor. Not all parts are properly mixed….
Electric lullaby is music to to drift into sleep… from downtempo to ambient .: for cosmic ivy :.
Strfr’s birthday party mix :) due a combination of a broken amplifier, hardware improvisation and a bug in the mixing software, the quality of the recording is quite bad. Next time I know a workaround that will help and a software change is discussed…
A homage to broken robot records and especially Nanosphere who got me into the wonderful field of #psybreaks.
